Aircraft In-Cylinder and Linear Displacement Transducers Our In-Cylinder and Linear displacement Transducers combines the best features associated with LVDTs and potentiometers into one rugged, contact less and highly reliable displacement transducer. With a diameter of only 10mm the In-Cylinder Transducer combines is ideal for installation into hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder applications where space is at a premium. The
V In-Cylinder Transducer combines is ideal for use on medium stroke actuators
and offers a choice of internal or external flange mounting configurations
to suit tie-rod, welded and rear clevis-mounted cylinder types. Two core
configurations of the In-Cylinder Transducer combines also provide the designer
the following options:SLEEVED CORE - cylinder rods can be simply machined to accommodate the sleeve. This also gives the option of retro-fitting existing servo-cylinders with an upgrade to VRVT technology. THREADED CORE - provides the designer with the minimum transducer body size and simplified installation requiring minimal machining. With no electrical sliding contacts, the In-Cylinder Transducers combine has a working life which is almost limitless. The Linear Displacement Transducer combines the best features associated with LVDTs and potentiometers into one rugged, contactless and highly reliable displacement transducer. The Linear Displacement Transducer utilises the proven VRVT contactless operating principle, allowing a short body to stroke length ratio. Housed within a rugged, welded stainless steel case, it is suitable for use in the most arduous environments. With no electrical sliding contacts, the Linear Displacement Transducer has a working life, which is almost limitless. The standard spherical bearing mounting style enables easy installation, and offers the user the option of upgrading to VRVT technology from potentiometers or LVDTs with strokes up to 500mm. |
